SLO Mini Maker Faire Was Amazing!

SLO MakerSpace was proud to help put on the 1st Annual SLO Mini Maker Faire this past weekend!  Check out the page and all the awesome local sponsors that made it happen!

Alex brought his awesome home-built 3D printer, Clint brought his “Music Machine”, a digital recording studio built into a vintage piano, we printed and jammed while signing up over 70 people in the area and met a ton of people to collaborate with!

Calling all Makers!

The San Luis Obispo MakerSpace will be the first collaborative shop in our area, an open-source fabrication laboratory where members can learn how to and build nearly anything.  The shop will include computer controlled routers, 3D printers, laser cutters, industrial sewing machines, welding equipment, soldering and electronics building, and more, making it possible design and prototype for hobbyist and business purposes.  San Luis Obispo is a community full of engineers, artists, and small businesses that can utilize and benefit a collaborative production facility and learning space, so head over to our Facebook page to show your support while we’re in the planning phase!
